Last month my Dad and I found ourselves in Fremantle so I decided to use another Entertainment voucher to get us breakfast.
There are a lot of cafes in Freo and Dad had been to one a few weeks earlier that totally under-cooked his order (which they got wrong anyway!) So I was hoping to restore his faith in breakfast cafes.
Simple Nosh is on Newcastle street which is pretty much the centre of freo but on a weekday morning is deceptively quiet and peaceful. There is a lovely big veranda to sit out on and you feel like you could be visiting a friend in the country.
The cheerful lady at the front counter also made you feel relaxed and at-home. We ordered scrambled eggs ($10) with some extras ($4 each). I just got bacon while dad got bacon, sausages and tomato. We also ordered a pot of tea to share. They have a few different bread options (white, multigrain and gluten free).
The eggs were deeeelicious! Best scrambled eggs I think I have ever had. The bread is also fresh and toasted perfectly with butter. My bacon was good although I feel like its not worth the $4 extra. Same for my dads side.. $4 for a tomato? But that is my only complaint. I would happily eat here again every morning for the rest of my life
Using the 25% off voucher we saved $10 which now brings our Entertainment Book savings to $138.
Simple Nosh also provide a range of gluten free foods on their menu so its a great place for those with dietary restrictions
