Catalano’s (Italian, Victoria Park)

Just a quick post from me today… I’m very busy getting ready for my flight tomorrow! :)

Last night we went out to Catalano’s for some Italian food and to use another voucher from the Entertainment Book.

I ordered chicken scallopini in a mushroom and white wine sauce. I have never had this dish before so I thought I’d try something new and it was okay. The sauce was delicious but it ran over the whole plate and made my chips and veg soggy. There was a good serving of chicken but I also found it to be a little dry – I personally just prefer juicy roast chicken so I don’t think its a meal I would buy again but I would encourage anyone else to give it a go :)

The service is very good at Catalano’s but its also quite crowded and busy. There is hardly any room to walk in and wait to be seated, with tables starting right in the doorway. Its also quite loud (as I am finding most restaurants to be!), so after we ate we walked over to the Dome for coffee and a quieter place to talk.

I have to admit I am a terrible blogger and I didn’t take photos or get the receipt! you will have to forgive me, my mind is elsewhere at the moment but it came to a little over $90 for 3 people and 25% off that is a saving of about $21.

We have now saved about $128 using our Entertainment Book.
